Caribbean Organisation for Standards and Quality
We were initially hired to undertake an organisational audit to assess organisational performance and functional efficacy and provide recommendations to strengthen capacity and efficiency. These recommendations included governance and institutional arrangements, organisational structure, human resources, strategic and operational planning processes, financial reporting processes, internal controls (budgets, procurement), organisational flexibility and responsiveness to change, communication and feedback systems, mechanisms to ensure delivery of new mandates and benchmarking to ensure best practice. We were subsequently re-hired to conduct an in-depth review of the organisation structure and staffing, job classification and compensation. This consultancy advanced on the audit recommendations to assist the CROSQ Secretariat to ensure that its organisational structure and human resource management infrastructure were ‘fit for purpose’; that the compensation system was appropriately matched. The European Union 10th EDF – CRIP – EPA funded the assignment.
